Did you know most hair ties aren’t biodegradable? There are possibly billions of unused hair ties on the planet, slowly breaking down into nasty micro plastics. These hair ties, however, are made from organic cotton & natural rubber.
These new hair ties now have more natural rubber, which means more elasticity, more durability, and no folding or wriggling. They are made to a high-end finish and are 100% biodegradable.

- 30% Natural Rubber
- Sleeve – 100% recycled unbleached Kraft paper
- Soy ink on the sleeve, which is 100% recyclable.

Workplace Transparency
The production facility is based in Tamilnadu State in India.
The minimum wage in the state is 5,107 INR per month. These makers are paid on average 27,500 INR per month. The makers work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and are off on all public holidays. For the health and safety of the makers, they are supplied gloves, face masks and hats. Also, regular health checks are done at the expense of the factory.
Carbon emissions are offset by planting a tree for every item sold. The product does not have any animal derivatives and no unnatural substances are used. They are 100% vegan and plastic-free.
Product care & end of life
At the end of life, the hair ties can be chopped up and added to home compost as ‘brown’ material. Or you could chop it up and bury it underground!
